In times when things aren't going your way it's hard to find motivation. Under these circumstances I recommend that you work whenever you feel motivated. If that means working in the middle of the night, do it! We can't be choosy in difficult times.

For one, success is the result of great ideas, hard work and persistance. Let's not fool ourselves and expect success to fall down from heaven. That may happen in exceptional cases but it's far from the norm. In order to succeed, we must persist and be willing to put in many hours of hard work.

Everyone knows that even the most solid business plan can fail and you may end up unemployed with piles of bills. Now, imagine that you've just started a company and a few months down the road you realize that you're actually making a profit. It's incredibly satisfying to succeed after having invested so much time and effort in a business.

Finding Motivation

What if you're either high or low but somewhere in between, then where do you draw your motivation from? This is where most of us operate from and at this level it's easy enough to find motivation. As a rule of thumb, whenever you feel motivated take the opportunity to work even if it's in the middle of the night.

When we're motivated creativity flows and we're able to work effectively for hours on end without a trace of boredom – motivation makes us winners.
